Winking in a white outfit! Kyōjurō Rengoku's birthday illustration from "Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba" looks "like the leader of a quintessential idol group"

A new chibi illustration by ufotable celebrating the birthday of the Flame Hashira, Kyōjurō Rengoku (Voice: Satoshi Hino), on May 10th was released on the "Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba" official X (formerly Twitter) and is currently creating a huge buzz.

Instead of the usual Demon Slayer Corps uniform and flame-patterned haori, the illustration features Rengoku in a special, flashy outfit in a stylized "chibi" look. Alongside the text "May 10th Birthday Kyōjurō Rengoku," the background is decorated with red heart-shaped balloons saying "HAPPY BIRTHDAY" and "KYOJURO.R 5.10," creating a gorgeous piece that shows Rengoku's beaming smile as he winks and spreads his arms.

"Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba" is a mega-hit anime series based on the manga by Koyoharu Gotouge. Set in the Taisho era, it follows Tanjirō Kamado (Voice: Natsuki Hanae), whose family was killed by demons, as he joins the "Demon Slayer Corps" to turn his demon-turned sister back into a human and fights alongside his comrades. Rengoku appears as one of the "Hashira," the highest-ranking swordsmen of the Demon Slayer Corps, specifically as the Flame Hashira. He is an incredibly popular character who has garnered overwhelming support from many fans for his passionate and upright way of life.

Following the release of this birthday illustration, fans flooded the post with celebratory comments such as "Happy birthday, Rengoku-san!" and "You are an eternal hero!!
