"The Apothecary Diaries" is an anime based on the light novel series of the same name by Hyuganatsu. The series has become a massive hit, captivated by Maomao’s deductive reasoning as a "poison tester" in the Rear Palace and her comical interactions with Jinshi. With two seasons already aired, it has been announced that Season 3 will be a split two-cour broadcast starting in October 2026 and April 2027. Additionally, the series' first theatrical movie is scheduled for release in December 2026.
