The anime "Re:ZERO -Starting Life in Another World-" (commonly known as Re:Zero) series is based on the popular light novel (Original: Tappei Nagatsuki / Illustration: Shinichirō Ōtsuka), which has surpassed 16 million copies in print worldwide (including digital versions). It is a dark fantasy follows Subaru Natsuki (Voice: Yūsuke Kobayashi), who is suddenly lost in another world and must face a harsh fate using his "Return by Death" ability, which allows him to rewind time by dying.

Episode 72: "Julius Juukulius"

Waiting as the examiner of the second floor was a red man who called himself a "stick-swinger." As Julius took the lead, the "stick-swinger" pulled out a pair of chopsticks that looked like mere tree branches to use as a weapon. His top-tier swordsmanship was easily parried, and the overwhelming difference in power began to tediously trample the knight's pride. Subaru and the others managed to escape back to the fourth floor and tried to deduce the examiner's identity based on his appearance and information from Shaula, but in the midst of it all, Julius disappeared...
