[Photos/Images] Key Visual for The Summer Hikaru Died Anime 1st Anniversary Thanksgiving Released! Chiaki Kobayashi, Shuichiro Umeda, and TOOBOE to Appear 1st

To celebrate the first anniversary of the TV anime The Summer Hikaru Died, a musical event titled "TV Anime The Summer Hikaru Died - 1st Anniversary Thanksgiving: Woven with Sound and Vision" will be held at Bunkyo Civic Hall on Sunday, July 5. Ahead of the event, new information including a freshly drawn key visual and guest performers has been announced.

The newly revealed key visual features Yoshiki, Hikaru, Asako, Yuki, and Yuta. Shedding their usual school uniforms, the five are dressed in formal attire such as tuxedos and dresses specially prepared for this event. Holding instruments like the violin and trombone, the visual captures a glamorous and special atmosphere, setting the stage for the "Thanksgiving" celebration.

Additionally, guest appearances have been confirmed for main cast members Chiaki Kobayashi (voice of Yoshiki Tsujinaka) and Shuichiro Umeda (voice of Hikaru), along with TOOBOE, the artist behind the anime's ending theme.

Advance lottery applications for tickets will start on Friday, May 15, at 6:00 PM. Premium tickets will include an exclusive 1st-anniversary original knapsack (not for sale) as a special bonus.

This stage event allows fans to enjoy live orchestral performances of the series' soundtrack while reflecting on the story of the first season through a chronological digest video. Instead of using pre-recorded audio from the anime, the production will immerse the audience in the world of the work through "live dubbing" by Chiaki Kobayashi and Shuichiro Umeda. Furthermore, the Kanagawa Prefectural Shonan High School Choir, who performed the choral piece "Hibi no Kage" in the series, will perform the song alongside the cast. TOOBOE is also scheduled to perform the ending theme "Anata wa Kaibutsu" in a special orchestra arrangement exclusive to this event.
