The Dr. STONE anime series is based on the popular manga serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump (published by Shueisha), written by Riichiro Inagaki and illustrated by Boichi. Set in a world where civilization collapsed after all of humanity was turned to stone, it follows the journey of the scientific genius Senkū.

[Synopsis]
Having finished their global search for materials, Senkū and his group finally return to Japan. Reuniting with Soyuz and the others from Treasure Island, as well as Ruri and the residents of the Kingdom of Science, they restart the construction of the launchpad and dam they had begun before the petrification. Meanwhile, Ryūsui demands entertainment media to boost the team's morale! With the arrival of a computer from Corn City, an entertainment revolution is born in the Kingdom of Science! At the same time, a sudden abnormality occurs within the petrification device kept by Senkū and the others...!
