——What inspired you to cosplay as Sayaka Miki from "Puella Magi Madoka Magica" this time?

Mizuame Ringo (hereafter, Mizuame): Since the release date for "Puella Magi Madoka Magica the Movie: Walpurgisnacht: Rising" was officially announced, I decided to cosplay Sayaka-chan, who is my absolute favorite character.

——Could you tell us about Sayaka's charm?

Mizuame: The reason why I love Sayaka-chan the most cannot be summed up in just a few words (lol). It's because she has the most humanity in the original anime series and is highly relatable. Her stubbornness in being unable to compromise her sense of justice, which often leads to her spinning her wheels, felt very similar to my own experiences when I first watched it. Furthermore, she is a key character who learns the truth about magical girls, making her absolutely essential to "Puella Magi Madoka Magica"!

——What did you focus on for this particular cosplay?

Mizuame: I paid close attention to my posing so that it would bring out the flowing movement of the cape, which is a key feature of Sayaka-chan's outfit! I also wanted to capture the cute essence of a magical girl while successfully recreating her cool scenes with a sword!
