▼Director: Haruka Ichikawa (CHOCOLATE Inc.)

I am Haruka Ichikawa, the scriptwriter and director of "Babies of Bread." The short film "Babies of Bread" released two years ago is entering a new chapter! It seems the bakery is thriving, and the kitchen has gotten bigger. Business is booming. That is why the newly born "Babies of Cream Pan" are the main characters this time.
The characters have become more "distinctive," and their shapes have evolved. (There is even a cream pan with hair-like spikes...?)
Please wait a little longer for the character announcement.
This time, with the cooperation of dwarf studio, it has become a stop-motion animation. As a fan of stop-motion, I am deeply moved. Thanks to the impressive technical skills of the doll-making team and animators, a wonderful life has been breathed into the bread. The shooting period, which lasted as long as three months, became an irreplaceable time spent with the adorable bread. The babies are ignorant and innocent, but on the other hand, they have no fear and come up with wild ideas. I hope you will enjoy watching their story of growth through small adventures.

Just the title "Babies of Bread" itself is already lovely.
This time, we explored what could be expressed in the transition from "CG animation to stop-motion with physical entities and limitations."
We usually make "fluffy" dolls out of cloth, but in this work, along with the animators, we pursued the "squishy" texture and movement of bread dough.
We hope you will enjoy their cute, "squishy" interactions.

I am thrilled about my incredibly cute co-stars, the Babies of Bread.
I want the baby of Tanaka from UNGIRLS, who is part of our "Do-Nani Family," to watch it too.
