On the official X account of the TV anime "Too Many Losing Heroines!", it was announced that the "Too Many Losing Heroines! Anime Official Guide" will be released on Friday, July 17th. Along with the announcement, the newly drawn cover illustration has been unveiled, sparking a buzz among fans.

The unveiled cover illustration is newly drawn by Tetsuya Kawakami, who serves as the character designer and chief animation director. It features the three "Makeine" (losing heroines): Anna Yanami (CV: Hikaru Tōno) giving a double peace sign with a beaming smile, Chika Komari (CV: Momoka Terasawa) smiling with a slightly smug face, and Lemon Yakishio (CV: Shion Wakayama) showing a cute expression with her finger to her lips. Adorable paints of hearts, stars, and paw prints are applied to each of their cheeks, creating a gorgeous and pop visual. According to the official announcement, the book will feature this newly drawn cover illustration, along with numerous copyrighted illustrations, talk interviews packed with behind-the-scenes stories, and more.

"Too Many Losing Heroines!" is a youth romantic comedy based on the highly popular light novel by Takibi Amamori. It depicts the slightly unfortunate yet lovable daily lives of girls who have lost in love—the "losing heroines" (Makeine)—and the protagonist, Kazuhiko Nukumizu (CV: Shūichirō Umeda), who gets caught up in their antics, gaining immense popularity through the anime broadcast.

In response to this announcement, fans poured in with joyful comments such as "Thank you for the divine illustration," "I love Yanami-san's smile and double peace sign," "I can't believe Komari-chan would give such a smug smile!", and "Lemon is pretty darn cute."

Furthermore, Yūichirō Kikuchi, the animation producer for this work, also commented in a quote repost, praising the high quality of the work: "From the order of 'Give us an overwhelming cover!', this output by Tetsuya Kawakami... accurately reflects a too terrifying artistic skill!"
