TV Anime Season 3 Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation III Set to Begin Broadcasting on July 5! Latest Key Visual Featuring Rudeus and His Wives Revealed

It has been announced that the third season of the TV anime, Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation III, will begin broadcasting on TOKYO MX, BS11, and other channels starting July 5, 2026. Along with the announcement, the latest key visual featuring the protagonist Rudeus, his two wives, and new characters has been revealed.

Based on the mega-hit fantasy novel series that began serialization on the novel-posting website "Shousetsuka ni Narou" in 2012 and has surpassed 18 million copies in cumulative circulation, this work tells the story of a 34-year-old shut-in NEET who reincarnates as a baby in a sword-and-sorcery fantasy world. Using his regrets from his past life as fuel, he resolves to "live life to the fullest this time around." The first two seasons of the TV anime have previously aired, generating a massive response both in Japan and overseas.

Airing at the milestone of the anime adaptation's 5th anniversary, Season 3 is scheduled to start its story from Volume 13 of the original novel. Serving as the sequel to the highly dramatic Season 2, an even more epic drama will unfold, featuring an older Rudeus, his wives Sylphiette and Roxy, the reincarnated girl Nanahoshi, and new characters who hold the key to the story, such as Perugius Dola, the "Armored Dragon King."

In addition, to commemorate the broadcasting of Season 3, an "Episode Popularity Poll Project" covering all 49 episodes from Seasons 1 and 2 will be held from May 19 to May 30 at 23:59. The top five episodes chosen in this poll are scheduled to be streamed for free for a limited time on the TOHO animation YouTube channel from June 4 at 19:00 to June 14 at 23:59.
