[Photos/Images] "Draw a Circle and Weyyy!" Fans React to the Vibe and Energy of the Umamusume Gal CM: "They’re Just the Absolute Best Gals, Huh?" 1st

On the official X account for the Umamusume Project, a video for the new Umamusume: Pretty Derby CM, "Umamusume Ekaki-uta" (Drawing Song): Gal Edition, was released, sparking a huge conversation on social media.

The post shared a link to the video along with the message: "Here's the Gal Umamusume drawing song♪ Everyone, try drawing along with the music! Vocals: Tosen Jordan (CV: Eri Suzuki), Daitaku Helios (Aya Yamane), Mejiro Palmer (Yuri Noguchi), Gold City (Saki Kosaka), Forever Young (Shuri Miumi), and Espoir City (Asaka)."

The released video starts with a pink grid background scattered with pop icons like ribbons, stars, and sunglasses. After the title call, a blue circle is drawn to the lyrics "Draw a circle~," and Tosen Jordan strikes a pose and emerges from it alongside the text "Weyyy☆!" Following that, two more characters appear from a green circle, and multiple Umamusume continue to pop out from red and purple circles one after another, all shouting "Weyyy☆!"

At the end, all the gal-style Umamusume gather to pose together, with the words "Gals Rule" displayed in large text in the center. Despite being called a "drawing song," the characters pop out in high spirits after merely a single circle is drawn, making it a comical video that perfectly captures the characteristically high energy and hype of gals.

Umamusume: Pretty Derby is a multimedia franchise developed by Cygames. Inheriting the names and souls of real-life racehorses that left behind legendary races and numerous records, "Umamusume" (Horse Girls) possessing horse ears and tails spend their school lives with their classmates and trainers at the educational institution "Tracen Academy," aiming to conquer the national sports entertainment event, the "Twinkle Series." The franchise expands across multiple media, including anime, music, and comics, with the game at its center.

In response to this post, fans chimed in with comments such as "The gal lineup has expanded!", "With this, Espoir is officially certified as a gal," and "They're just the absolute best gals, huh?" Comments questioning the omission of Air Groove (voiced by Ruriko Aoki) were also seen, with fans asking, "Did you forget someone?" Furthermore, because this surreal production style resembles a web meme video that went viral in the past, reactions from people reminiscing about the trend at the time could be seen, with comments like, "Is this where the Internet Elders Association is meeting today?"
