It has been announced that "The Drifting Classroom POP UP STORE in Shibuya" will be held at Hands Shibuya from June 2nd to July 6th.

Since it began serialization in 1972, The Drifting Classroom has been talked about as a legendary, massive sci-fi suspense manga that brought shock and enthusiasm to its readers. Written and illustrated by Kazuo Umezu—a genius manga artist and creator known for his wide-ranging styles and numerous masterpieces—the sheer power of the work, combined with his intense artistic sense and brushstrokes, has not faded at all even more than 50 years after its completion. It continues to shine brilliantly in the history of Japanese manga as a masterpiece that truly transcends time and space.

This pop-up store will fully recreate the worldview of the drifted world. At the venue, a variety of highly creative and popular apparel items will be sold as original merchandise, including T-shirts featuring famous scenes, as well as embroidered sukajan jackets and hats. In addition to standard items such as popular acrylic stands, keychains, and stickers themed after characters and iconic scenes from the story, there will also be many original products unique to "Gallery of Hakaba" that will deeply resonate with die-hard fans. These include folding fans and mamezara (mini plates) boldly layouted with Umezu's art style, and tenugui hand towels modeled after the "Yamato Elementary School Signboard," all available exclusively here.

This event allows old fans to feel nostalgic and new fans to experience the trauma-level shock once again, offering an opportunity to experience "that incredible moment that you will never be able to forget for the rest of your life."
