Kōki Uchiyama (voicing Nagi Taira) Comment

I was surprised by Nagi Taira’s unique trait of being normally unconscious but awakening whenever bloodlust is directed at him. Tank Chair is an animation packed with intense drama between characters and battle action full of various gimmicks. The recording method is pre-scoring rather than post-recording, and the entire cast is approaching it with incredible focus and energy, so I really hope many people will watch it.

Minori Fujidera (voicing Shizuka Taira) Comment

I am Minori Fujidera, and I will be playing the role of Shizuka Taira. Shizuka-chan is so straightforward that she disregards her own safety just to completely awaken her older brother, Nagi. Just thinking about what I would do if I were in the same situation as Shizuka-chan makes my heart race—she carries such a heavy burden. Even so, whenever I see her aloof demeanor or catch a glimpse of her inner heart at unexpected moments, I find her incredibly endearing.

While making sure not to miss a single word of my wonderful seniors' acting, I was able to record with everyone who is so full of love for this work, and I played Shizuka-chan with everything I had. Every character who appears is somewhat awkward, and I am highly drawn to their strength precisely because they are imperfect. The action unique to Tank Chair is also full of charm. I would be thrilled if you look forward to the broadcast!

Gakuto Kajiwara (voicing Naozumi Kurosaka) Comment

I am Gakuto Kajiwara, and I will be playing the role of Naozumi Kurosaka. Naozumi is Touko's older brother, living his days covered in anguish, anger, and pain. When I play Naozumi, I squeeze out every bit of my own negative side and approach it with a heart that feels almost withered...! So, when I'm acting, it's very grueling in a good way... lol But I think that's exactly why so much of his deep inner self is packed into it.

Also, we are performing using the pre-scoring recording format. Because of that, we are allowed to act very freely, with a lot left up to the actors! I am fighting with everything I've got while letting my emotions explode, so please look forward to Tank Chair!!

Saori Hayami (voicing Touko Kurosaka) Comment

In contrast to the Taira siblings, the Kurosaka siblings depict another side of the story. The younger sister, Touko, is a strong person who always thinks of her older brother, Naozumi, and has the resolve to protect him. During the recordings, I am approaching the role while treasuring the deep bond that the siblings have built.

Actually, during the audition, I was quite surprised to find only "shuu," "shuu," "shuu" written in the script. Furthermore, the recording for the main series is done in a pre-scoring format, where only the vocal interactions are recorded beforehand. I felt anxious entering this new world, but now I am savoring its depth and enjoying it with a good sense of tension. The coolness of the original manga, the fast-paced battles, and each character's story will be carefully depicted in the anime. I think it's turning out to be a video work with a massive impact! Please look forward to it!
