Blu-ray Volume 1 Special Limited Edition Released for Anime "You Can't Be In a Rom-Com with Your Childhood Friends!", Featuring ASMR and Other Bonuses

From the TV anime "You Can't Be In a Rom-Com with Your Childhood Friends!", Blu-ray Volume 1 (Special Limited Edition) has officially gone on sale starting today, Wednesday, May 27, 2026.

"You Can't Be In a Rom-Com with Your Childhood Friends!" is a romantic comedy series based on the manga by Shinya Misu, which is currently being serialized in "Magazine Pocket." The anime is directed by Satoshi Kuwabara, with series composition and screenplay handled by Mitsutaka Hirota (co-written with Mayumi Morita). Reina Iwasaki serves as the character designer and chief animation director, while the animation production is handled by Tezuka Productions.

The Special Limited Edition released this time features a digipak and a clear case utilizing newly drawn illustrations by character designer Iwasaki. The clear case is designed to be opened by sliding it up and down; removing it reveals the heroines changing from their loungewear into lingerie, adopting a unique "outfit-changing" design.

In addition, the enclosed bonuses include an ASMR CD titled "At-Home Date Edition" (Shio & Akari ver.), the original soundtrack vol.1, and a special 16-page original key animation book from the main anime.
