On the official Dragon Ball X account, an image compiling four training scenes from the series was posted along with the message, "Are there any pairs that come to mind when you think of training scenes?" This has become a hot topic among fans.

The image highlights memorable pairs, such as mentors and disciples, that left a strong impression on fans. These include a scene where Son Goku (CV: Masako Nozawa) with a halo over his head trains with bricks alongside King Kai (CV: Joji Yanami); Piccolo (CV: Toshio Furukawa) and a young Son Gohan (CV: Masako Nozawa); a fierce clash between Trunks (CV: Takeshi Kusao) in his Super Saiyan form and Vegeta (CV: Ryo Horikawa); and an interaction between Gohan in his youth and Son Goten (CV: Masako Nozawa).

Dragon Ball, created by Akira Toriyama, is a massive hit manga serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump (Shueisha) from 1984 to 1995. The story follows the protagonist, Son Goku, and his companions as they engage in fierce battles against powerful enemies over the "Dragon Balls," mysterious treasures that can grant any single wish when all seven are gathered. The franchise has expanded into a wide range of media mixes, including TV anime, movies, and video games, and continues to enjoy global popularity today.

In response to this post, fans have shared comments bringing up various other training scenes. Responses included a voice saying "This is the one after all," accompanied by an image of Gohan and Goku training in the Hyperbolic Time Chamber; "Trunks and Future Gohan"; and looking back at the early days, "Goku and Krillin (CV: Mayumi Tanaka), I learned about training from Dragon Ball!" There were also many comments showing affection for specific scenes and characters, such as those recalling King Kai's memorable line, "If you want to train, you have to tell a joke," and others pointing to Piccolo and Gohan, saying, "Probably these two."
