Outlines and registration details for various programs open to general applicants and participants have also been announced.

■Cosplay Runway & Performance Stage "WCS Selection"

A program designed to let cosplayers experience the joy of standing on stage. Cosplayers selected through a general application process are eligible to participate.

Participation Method: Pre-registration required (Open to anyone)

Entry Deadline: Until Friday, June 5 at 10:00

■Hisaya-odori Park "Special Water Mirror Photo Session"

A special project allowing cosplay photography on the water mirror at Hisaya-odori Park, an area usually closed to the public. Special effects such as mist emissions and nighttime illumination will be featured.

Participation Method: Pre-registration required (Open to anyone)

Entry Registration: Scheduled to begin Saturday, June 6 at 10:00 on the official website

Fee: 2,000 yen per group (tax included)

■ Oasis 21 Red Carpet Photo Session

Exclusively on the day of the Eve Festival, the red carpet laid out on the grand staircase of the Oasis 21 Galaxy Platform will be opened as a photo spot. This allows shooting in an area normally reserved for representative cosplayers and VIP guests (a lottery will be held for pre-registered applicants).

Participation Method: Pre-registration required (Lottery, open to anyone)

Date: Friday, July 31

Fee: Free

Application: Scheduled to begin in June (Details will be posted sequentially on the official website)

■ WCS Market Artist Alley 2026 (Abbreviation: Samima)

A new exhibition event where cosplay and creative arts meet. An interactive marketplace for cosplayers, creators, and fans to mingle, limited to 50 booths per session.

Dates: Saturday, August 1 (Session 1: 10:00–15:00 / Session 2: 15:00–20:00), Sunday, August 2 (Session 3: 10:00–15:00 / Session 4: 15:00–20:00)

Exhibition Fee: 6,000 yen per slot

Venue: SLOW ART CENTER NAGOYA

Application Period: Monday, June 8 to Tuesday, June 30 at 23:59

■The Guardians of the Lighthouses "Akaribi Matsuri" ~Reading & Talk Show with Voice Actors~

A collaboration stage between the World Cosplay Summit and "The Guardians of the Lighthouses" (Akari no Moribito), a media mix project that anthropomorphizes lighthouses from across Japan. Cosplayers will take the stage to co-star with guest voice actors.
