Episode 33 of the anime Dr. STONE SCIENCE FUTURE, broadcast on May 28, featured a development where members were selected for a space mission to confront Why-Man on the moon. Along with the phrase, "Science makes everyone equal," an unexpected person was chosen as the fighter, sending shock waves through viewers.

In order to confront Why-Man, Senku Ishigami (CV: Yusuke Kobayashi) and his allies are planning a mission to head to the moon in a rocket with a crew consisting of a pilot, a scientist, and a fighter. In Episode 33, "I Want Everything," training finally began to determine the members who will board the rocket. Tsukasa Shishio (CV: Yuichi Nakamura), famously known as the "Strongest High School Primate," was considered the leading candidate for the fighter position, but Tsukasa himself had his eyes on Kohaku (CV: Manami Numakura), who possesses high combat ability.

Thereupon, Tsukasa launched a surprise attack on Kohaku to test her skills. He then told her, "You now possess combat ability second only to myself and Hyoga." Kohaku replied, "Even so, I don't measure up to you in the slightest when it comes to hand-to-hand combat." However, Tsukasa stated that any lack of combat power could be compensated for with the weapons of the Kingdom of Science, wearing a bright expression as he said, "Yes, science makes everyone equal."

Thus, Tsukasa recommended Kohaku to Senku and the others as the fighter heading into space. He explained the benefits, noting that a nimble warrior like Kohaku would be far more optimal than himself for lunar combat, and as a bonus, it would reduce the weight of the rocket. Consequently, Kohaku was officially selected as a member of the space mission.

Following the development of Kohaku being chosen as the fighter, viewers took to the internet one after another to express their surprise, with comments like "Kohaku, of all people?!", "I totally thought it would be Tsukasa," and "Unexpected, but it works." Regarding Tsukasa's decision, comments were also seen expressing how touching it was, such as, "It warmed my heart to see his judgment based purely on suitability for the situation."
