Short Anime by Thai Creator Zemyata Wins 11 Telly Awards Categories: 1st Project from ABEMA

The original anime pilot film Poppin-Play Kitchen (Original Concept, Director, Screenplay, and Production by Zemyata), released as the first project under "Project PRISMation," has won a total of 11 categories, including three Gold awards, out of more than 13,000 entries at the 47th Annual Telly Awards, an international video and advertising award.

Established in 1979, the Telly Awards honor outstanding video and television content broadcast worldwide. Winners are judged and determined by the Silver Telly Council, which is composed of leading professionals in fields related to the latest technologies in the entertainment, publishing, advertising, and broadcasting industries.

This time, Poppin-Play Kitchen won the Gold Telly in three categories: Storyboard, Art Direction, and Social Media. In addition, it won Silver Telly awards in eight categories, including the "People's Telly" category, which is determined by votes from fans around the world.

This work is an original anime pilot film born from "Project PRISMation," a project launched by ABEMA in December 2025 with the aim of creating original anime works together with next-generation anime creators. Zemyata, the creator who helmed this work, is based in Thailand and enjoys great popularity for their vivid use of color and dark yet pop worldview.

The film has been viewed over 2.2 million times on YouTube, drawing numerous reactions not only from Japan but also from overseas, with comments such as "I've come across something mind-blowing" and "I'm looking forward to what's next." Regarding the awards, Zemyata shared their joy and gratitude, commenting, "I just can't believe this news at first...! Thank you so much to everyone who voted! I'm simply overwhelmed that this little pilot version has received so much support. Thanks to all of you, we were able to breathe life into this small project and give it shape." Furthermore, due to its popularity, the production of a sequel has been greenlit. Details such as the release timing will be announced sequentially on official social media.

In addition, "Project PRISMation" is currently holding its first open call for proposals to discover next-generation talent to co-create a new story following this work. The project is calling for "proposals for original short anime" and "expansion plans" that depict the future beyond that. The selected proposals will receive comprehensive support to deliver the work to the world, including production costs for the short original anime, as well as promotion and commercial expansion. No qualifications are required, and anyone can apply regardless of whether they are a professional or amateur, age, gender, or nationality. The project is seeking proposals that give shape to a "fascinating character" and a "powerful worldview" inside the creator's mind.
