The original TV anime "APOCALYPSEHOTEL" has won the "Media Category" at the 57th Seiun Awards. Along with it, "APOCALYPSEHOTEL Pusu-Pusu," the manga adaptation of the work by Izumi Takemoto, also won the "Comic Category" at the same awards, achieving a double win.

Established in 1970, the Seiun Awards are Japan's oldest and most prestigious sci-fi awards. They are chosen once a year via fan voting by registered attendees of the Japan Science Fiction Convention, selecting from outstanding sci-fi works and activities released or completed during the previous calendar year.

"APOCALYPSEHOTEL," which won the "Media Category," is an original work that began broadcasting and streaming in April 2025. The mysterious and wondrous drama—woven by Yachiyo, a hotelier robot working at "Gingaro" (the hotel left on an Earth where humanity has vanished), and extraterrestrial guests—gained an enthusiastic response both in Japan and overseas. Currently, it is available on various streaming services, and all four Blu-ray volumes are now on sale.

Furthermore, "APOCALYPSEHOTEL Pusu-Pusu," which won the "Comic Category," garnered strong support from many readers as a work that expands the anime's world. Currently, the second manga adaptation, "APOCALYPSEHOTEL Kari-Kari," is being serialized on the web comic site "Take-Comi!".
