Chiikawa Pocket Launches Moon-Viewing Event With Limited Outfits and Items for the Chiikawa Cast

The smartphone app Chiikawa Pocket has been running a moon-viewing event since Friday, August 28, unveiling new outfits to go with it. A campaign celebrating the event is also underway on Chiikawa Pocket's official X account.

The app is based on Chiikawa, the popular manga that illustrator Nagano posts on X, and is a smartphone game packed with activities that let players feel the world of Chiikawa, built around the concept of "always together with Chiikawa's cast, anytime, anywhere." It has been available in 43 countries and regions worldwide since Thursday, March 27, 2025.

Moon-Viewing Event and New Outfits Added

Chiikawa Pocket is currently running numerous campaigns themed around moon-viewing.

In this moon-viewing event, progressing through the "Event Pass" lets players obtain the moon-viewing outfit for Shisa, as well as the home item "Pestle and Mortar" — evoking the classic moon-viewing image of rabbits pounding mochi — which Usagi come to visit. Login bonuses also unlock the home item "Location: Harvest Moon," a spot where other home items can be placed.

In addition, the moon-viewing outfits for Chiikawa, Hachiware, Usagi, Momonga, Kurimanju, and Rakko all debut together alongside the event.

"★7 Weapons & Gear Pickup Gacha" Underway

A campaign called "Chiikawa Pocket Moon-Viewing Senryu" — inviting fans to submit senryu, short Japanese poems in a 5-7-5 syllable form, on a moon-viewing theme — is also underway to celebrate the debut of the moon-viewing outfits. Taking part in the campaign earns a serial code redeemable for 15 "Small Candy" items. In addition, among those who join the campaign and post a moon-viewing-themed senryu on X, 50 winners will be chosen by lottery to receive a "Chiikawa Pocket Moon-Viewing Tin Badge."
