The first-ever original animation for Lotte's long-selling brand "Pie No Mi," which is entering its 48th year since its release in 1979, titled "Pie No Mi Oshi no Mori he Yokoso!," will be released sequentially on the official YouTube channel starting June 4.

This work was produced as the second phase of the "Pie No Mi Oshi no Mori Project," which combines the world of the "Pie No Mi Forest"—long beloved on product packaging—with modern "oshi-katsu" (fandom support) culture. In the first phase, various initiatives were carried out under the "Oshi no Mori" theme, including all 64 chapters of a 4-panel manga, product packaging, merchandise, and LINE stickers.

For the anime "Pie No Mi Oshi no Mori he Yokoso!," Shin-Ei Animation participated in original concept creation, and TOHO animation STUDIO handled the animation production. Furthermore, a talented lineup of voice actors has gathered for the cast. The role of the squirrel Pile will be played by Yumiko Kobayashi, known for her role as Shinnosuke Nohara in "Crayon Shin-chan," and Roxy will be played by Rie Hikisaka, known for her role as Cure Yell in "Hugtto! Precure." In addition, Akihiro Tajima, Shun Kimeda, Hana Tamegai, Marie Oi, Shota Hayama, Rina Honnizumi, Kosuke Echigoya, Satsumi Matsuda, and Hinata Tadokoro will portray the unique characters of the forest.

Along with the anime release, a new project called "Pie No Mi Numa-ka Keikaku" (Pie No Mi Deep Dive Project) will also launch to further expand the world. The original song "Pie Shika Katan! Oshi no Mori-katsu," composed and arranged by Misaki Umase and sung by Kokona Ambo, will be distributed across various music platforms. Additionally, sequential rollouts will include an experiential collaboration at Karaoke Pasela, the release of various fan merchandise, and the screening of promotional videos at TOHO Cinemas.
