On the official X account for the "Jujutsu Kaisen" anime, it was announced that the "School Festival Fair in Animate," commemorating the 5th anniversary of the "Jujutsu Kaisen" anime, will be held, and an original newly drawn illustration themed around a school festival has been released, sparking a huge buzz.

The account announced that this fair, celebrating the anime's 5th anniversary, will be held from Saturday, August 15 at Animate stores nationwide and the Animate mail-order site. Along with this, they unveiled the original newly drawn illustration with a school festival theme, and numerous new merchandise items using this visual are scheduled to go on sale during the period.

The released image depicts characters enjoying the school festival. Yūta Okkotsu (CV: Megumi Ogata) and Toge Inumaki (CV: Kōki Uchiyama) are wearing blue happi coats, while Yūji Itadori (CV: Junya Enoki) and Megumi Fushiguro (CV: Yūma Uchida) are seen in orange happi coats, with Itadori holding yakisoba and Fushiguro holding a rabbit-shaped cotton candy. Satoru Gojō (CV: Yūichi Nakamura) and Suguru Getō (CV: Takahiro Sakurai), dressed in light blue happi coats, appear like food stall vendors, and a sign reading "Yakisoba 250 yen" hangs from Gojō's neck.

The anime "Jujutsu Kaisen" is a dark fantasy work based on the blockbuster manga by Gege Akutami. It depicts the curses born from human negative emotions and the fierce battles of the jujutsu sorcerers who exorcise them. Since the first season of the TV anime aired in 2020, the anime expansion has continued with "Jujutsu Kaisen 0: The Movie" in 2021 and the second season "Hidden Inventory / Premature Death / Shibuya Incident" in 2023, boasting immense popularity both in Japan and overseas.
