It has been announced that the TV anime "My Stepmother and Stepsisters Aren't Wicked," scheduled to air in the summer season, will begin broadcasting on July 8 at 23:30. Furthermore, the main PV has been released, revealing that Lia will perform the OP theme and AVAM will handle the ED theme, along with the announcement of three additional cast members.

"My Stepmother and Stepsisters Aren't Wicked" is a popular work with a cumulative circulation of over 1 million copies (including digital editions). Following her mother's death, a young girl named Miya Nakamura is taken in by the prestigious Kōnokura family. She prepares herself for harsh treatment as the child of a concubine, but—the stepmother and stepsisters who are supposed to be terrifying are... "not wicked"?! This is a heart-warming gap comedy that touches the heart with its depiction of daily life with a kind and warm new family.

The newly released main PV starts with a serious scene where the protagonist Miya, a child of a concubine, is welcomed with solemn expressions by the Kōnokura family's stepmother, Teru, the eldest stepsister, Marika, and the second stepsister, Arisa. Contrary to Miya's expectations of harsh treatment, what awaits her is a kind and warm welcome.

The PV impressively portrays Miya's bewilderment and surprise at the kindness shown by her stepmother and stepsisters, who exude an air of being "wicked" with their dignified presence. Coupled with the title calls by the stepmother, Teru, which are frequently inserted throughout the video, the PV is packed with a heart-warming contrast that will make viewers chuckles.

Furthermore, cast information for characters closely related to the Kōnokura family has been unveiled within the PV. Miyari Nemoto will voice Yaeko Kōnokura, the cousin of the Kōnokura stepsisters Marika and Arisa; Yumi Uchiyama will voice Nago, the head maid of the Kōnokura family; and M・A・O will voice Mitsuya, a rookie maid of the Kōnokura family.

The unique characters surrounding the Kōnokura family are also well worth noting. With expectations running high, the premiere date for this work has been set for July 8. Broadcasting will begin sequentially on tvk (Television Kanagawa), Tele-tama, and Chiba TV, as well as MBS and BS Asahi. In addition, streaming has been confirmed on various platforms, including U-NEXT, Anime Hodai, and Anime Times.
