"I love this visual so much..." – Release of top 11 characters' "selfie visuals" from BLUE LOCK drives fans wild: "It's so good seeing them taking selfies in similar poses"

On Bandai Candy's official X account, the selfie visuals of the characters voted 1st to 11th in the BLUE LOCK project "Egoist Vote" have been released, creating a huge buzz.

This project was held on Bandai Candy's official website, and it had been announced that the top 22 characters would be featured as wafer cards with newly drawn illustrations, with the top 11 receiving a deluxe specification. In the released images, one can see selfies that bring out each character's unique personality, such as a surreal composition where Yoichi Isagi (CV: Kazuki Ura) gives a refreshing peace sign with a towel around his neck while Rin Itoshi (CV: Kōki Uchiyama) quietly sits in zazen meditation behind him, Hyoma Chigiri (CV:  Sōma Saitō) smiling with a hand to his hair, Rensuke Kunigami (CV: Yūki Ono) taking a photo using a large tablet device, and Ranze Kurona (CV: Chiaki Kobayashi) striking a "gabu-gabu" (munching) pose with one hand.

BLUE LOCK is an anime series based on the smash-hit soccer manga by Muneyuki Kaneshiro (story) and Yusuke Nomura (artwork). To cultivate an overwhelmingly egoistic striker who can lead Japan to a World Cup victory, 300 high school forwards gathered at a facility called "Blue Lock" (Blue Prison) put their soccer careers on the line to tackle a brutal selection process.

In response to these newly drawn visuals, fans flooded the post with cries of joy, such as "I love this visual so much..." and "I'm simping so hard!" Furthermore, numerous affectionate comments were left regarding their poses and attitudes, including: "It's so good seeing Bachira, Isagi, and Chigiri taking selfies in similar poses," "Kuronaaaa!
