Anime "Black Clover" 2nd Season Starts in October! Director Ayataka Tanemura's Illustrated Message & Season 1 Recap Video Released

It has been announced that the 2nd Season of the TV anime "Black Clover" will begin broadcasting on the TXN (TV Tokyo) Network and other stations starting this October.

"Black Clover" is a popular fantasy manga by Yūki Tabata, which was serialized in "Weekly Shonen Jump" and "Jump GIGA" from 2015 to May 2026. The series has surpassed a cumulative circulation of 24.5 million copies. The TV anime originally aired from 2017 to 2021, and the movie "Black Clover: Sword of the Wizard King" was released in 2023.

Ayataka Tanemura, who directed the 1st Season and the movie version, will continue as the director for the newly broadcasted 2nd Season. Along with this announcement, a special illustrated message from Director Tanemura has also arrived.

Furthermore, it was announced that a panel for the series will be held at "Anime Expo 2026" in Los Angeles, USA, one of the world's largest anime events. At the panel, which will take place on July 4 (local time), Gakuto Kajiwara (the voice of Asta) and Director Tanemura will appear on stage for a talk and a premiere screening of the 2nd Season's first episode.

In addition, ahead of the 2nd Season broadcast, a special video that recaps the events of the 1st Season in 10 minutes has been newly released on YouTube.
