An image announcing the "Bocchi the Rock!" Summer Fair has been released on the official X account for the anime "Bocchi the Rock!". The retro and cute outfits, as well as the sight of a fifth member casually blending in, are generating a huge buzz.

The account announced that "Bocchi the Rock! Summer Fair 2026" will be held at Animate stores nationwide from August 15 to September 6. It was also announced that newly drawn exclusive merchandise will be sold and a special exhibition will be held at the Yokohama VIVRE store during this period.

The released image features characters dressed in retro and cute outfits matching the theme "Retro Chic Girls." From left to right, five people are lined up: Ikuyo Kita, Nijika Ijichi, Hitori Gotō, Ryō Yamada, and Kikuri Hiroi—who is actually their familiar senior. Bocchi is holding a drink in a red-and-white checkered one-piece dress, while Kikuri poses happily in a chic, predominantly black dress. The newly drawn illustration is overflowing with a fresh charm that offers a twist from their usual selves.

The anime "Bocchi the Rock!" is based on the four-panel manga of the same name by Aki Hamaji. It depicts the growth of Bocchi, a high school student who is extremely shy and introverted but possesses solid guitar skills, after joining "Kessoku Band" led by Nijika, along with unique members like Ryо̄ and Ikuyo through their band activities. In addition to the charm of the original manga currently serialized in Houbunsha's "Manga Time Kirara MAX," the authentic band sound resonated deeply, leading to a massive hit.
