"Nobara-chan Is Way Too Cute!" Anime "Jujutsu Kaisen" 5th Anniversary Campaign Unveiled; Fans Overjoyed by the Four Close Friends Playing at an Arcade

The holding of the anime "Jujutsu Kaisen" 5th anniversary campaign has been announced on the official X account of GiGO Group shops, sparking a huge buzz among fans. The campaign, featuring exclusive newly drawn illustrations, will start on Friday, July 31, with "Jujutsu-yaki" and a POP UP SHOP held simultaneously.

The released campaign image depicts the characters thoroughly enjoying themselves in their Jujutsu High uniforms. Yūji Itadori (CV: Junya Enoki) is stuffing his face with taiyaki with a full smile, while Megumi Fushiguro (CV: Yūma Uchida) is holding a large white rabbit plushie. Nobara Kugisaki (CV: Asami Seto) holds a taiyaki while cradling a bear plushie, and Satoru Gojō (CV: Yūichi Nakamura) shows a cheerful expression, holding bags containing a total of six taiyaki in both hands.

The anime "Jujutsu Kaisen" is a dark fantasy work based on the manga of the same name by Gege Akutami, which was serialized in "Weekly Shonen Jump." It depicts the fierce battles between "Curses," born from negative human emotions, and "Jujutsu Sorcerers" who exorcise them using jujutsu. Since the first season of the TV anime began broadcasting in October 2020, it has recorded a massive hit. Following the release of the theatrical film and the second season of the TV anime, the third season, which aired until this March, also generated a massive response, making the work highly popular both in Japan and overseas.

In response to this post, many joyful comments regarding the characters' appearances and the situation have poured in from fans, such as "Nobara-chan is way too cute," "I love this expression on Gojō-sensei...," "Is he going to eat six all by himself?", and "I want to eat taiyaki together with them."
