On the official X account for the original "Makeine: Too Many Losing Heroines!", an illustration of Tiara Basori and Yumeko Shikiya in yukata drawn by Imigimuru, the original illustrator, has been released. A succession of fans have been captivated by its glamorous charm, sparking a huge buzz.

In the released illustration, Basori, dressed in a refreshing light blue-based yukata, and Shikiya, wrapped in a calm purple-toned yukata, stand side by side. The charming contrast is depicted between Basori, who has partially let down her blue hair that she usually ties up and wears a slightly displeased expression, and Shikiya, who gazes this way with a somewhat languid look. It is a piece that offers a glimpse into the extraordinary atmosphere unique to summer festivals and a new side of the characters.

"Makeine: Too Many Losing Heroines!" (abbreviated as "Makeine") is a highly popular light novel series written by Takibi Amamori and illustrated by Imigimuru. It is a new-sensation, chaotic, losing-streak youth story that depicts the protagonist, Kazuhiko Nukumizu—a background high school student—getting entangled with somewhat unfortunate "losing heroines" who failed to win the position of their crushes' lovers, such as a gluttonous childhood-friend-type heroine and an energetic sports-type heroine. It was also adapted into a TV anime and became a major topic of discussion.

In response to this post, a flurry of excited voices has come from fans, such as "Tiara-san with her hair down... no way...", "The allure of the yukata look is so good," "Shikiya-senpai's allure is so insane it pierced my heart," and "Oh my god. I love this. This is crazy." Furthermore, the original author, Amamori, also responded by bringing up the story's protagonist, commenting, "They are so incredibly cute that I'm starting to get mad at Nukumizu-kun... He's an enemy of women, unforgivable."
