Information on the eight main cast members has been announced for the TV anime "Super Psychic Policeman Chojo," scheduled to broadcast in October 2026. Along with this, the main visual and main PV have also been released.
This work is based on the popular manga by Shun Numa, which was serialized in "Weekly Shōnen Jump" and won the "Next Manga Awards" for two consecutive years (6th place in the Comics Category in 2024, 3rd place in the Comics Category in 2025).
The strongest (?) buddy duo protects the peace! A psychic police comedy!! Meguru Chōjō is a criminal investigation specialist who utilizes all kinds of psychic powers, such as mind-reading, clairvoyance, and telepathy. Nao Ippongi is a rookie police officer who is a ranked judo practitioner and holds the nickname "Gorilla" due to her superhuman strength. The strongest (?) buddy duo protects the peace of Chinjuku again today.
Main Visual & 1st PV Revealed
The newly revealed main visual depicts the colorful characters living in Chinjuku, including the protagonist and psychic police sergeant Meguru Chōjō, and his buddy, the judo girl Nao Ippongi. The finish leaves viewers curious about the story unfolding in Chinjuku's Kabuki-cho, where incidents and laughter erupt.
In the 1st main PV, the unique characters are introduced alongside the first-ever reveal of the cast's voices. The fast-paced dialogue exchange condenses the charm of this psychic police comedy, heightening expectations for the main series.
