"That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime Season 4" 2nd Cour Key Visual & PV Released! OP by Daoko, ED by Azusa Tadokoro

In the anime "That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime Season 4," ahead of the broadcast of the second cour starting on July 3, the second key visual, the second PV, and the second opening (OP) and ending (ED) theme songs have been released all at once.

The original work is based on the novel of the same name released on the WEB by Fuse, which was published as a book by GC Novels (published by Micro Magazine / illustrated by Mitz Vah), and then adapted into a manga (currently serialized in Kodansha's "Monthly Shonen Sirius" / manga by Taiki Kawakami), with the total cumulative circulation of the series exceeding 62 million copies worldwide. It has been adapted into numerous media mixes, including a TV anime, OAD, theatrical films, and spin-off comics.

In November 2022, the series' first theatrical film, "That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime the Movie: Scarlet Bond," was released. It became a huge hit, surpassing 1 million domestic admissions and recording a box office revenue of 1.4 billion yen.

The TV anime "That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime Season 4," which is being developed over a split 5 cours, has been broadcasting for two consecutive cours since April. The second key visual, released ahead of the second cour broadcast, depicts Rimuru as well as the Primordial Demons who are finally making their full-fledged anime appearance: Testarossa, Ultima, and Carrera. In the foreground, Chloe, Granbell, and a mysterious figure who carries remnants of Chloe are shown. Anticipation is high for future developments, including the story revolving around the "Hero" that is finally starting to move, and the enemies standing in front of Rimuru as he welcomes new allies.

Also, it has been decided that the second OP theme song for Season 4 will be by Daoko, and the second ED theme song will be by Azusa Tadokoro. The OP theme song "TACTIC" by Daoko features sound produced by Giga and TeddyLoid. The ED theme song "Hymnal" by Azusa Tadokoro is a song created by overlaying her thoughts on the figure of Chloe, whom she plays. Both songs will be available for streaming starting at 0:00 on July 4.
