Episode 12 of the anime "Daemons of the Shadow Realm," based on the latest work by hit manga artist Hiromu Arakawa, known for "Fullmetal Alchemist," has been airing sequentially since June 20. With the development revealing a glimpse of the ability wielded by Ivan Yosano (CV: Shinichirō Miki), reactions are spreading online, with comments like, "Another cold-blooded-looking guy has appeared," and "The tension just skyrocketed all at once..."

Ivan is a man with long and short swords strapped to his waist. While he seems to be targeting Yuru (CV: Kenshō Ono), his true background remains shrouded in mystery, including what kind of Tsugai he has contracted with and what abilities they possess. In Episode 12, "The Guard and the Shaman," part of Ivan's ability was brought to light.

The shaman Yama (CV: Hidenobu Kiuchi) revealed to Ryu Tadera, also known as Dera (CV: Yūichi Nakamura), that he had encountered a man with swords on a dark road at night, speculating, "Those long and short swords were probably his Tsugai, right?" Although he was supposedly slashed by the opponent, he had no injuries anywhere, making him wonder with a puzzled look, "I wonder what that guy was up to? A pervert?"

Later, when Yama visited Higashimura, a sword suddenly thrust out of his stomach, and Ivan emerged from within, saying, "Hello, Higashimura." Maintaining his nonchalant attitude, Ivan instantly took the lives of the villagers.

It appears that Ivan wields an ability akin to spatial teleportation. On social media, reactions spread widely: "Another cold-blooded-looking guy has appeared," "With Ivan Yosano's full-scale entrance, the tension skyrocketed all at once...", and "He already looks great, and his voice is amazing too, making him a highly satisfying enemy character."

Moreover, due to shared features like a black hairstyle with an exposed forehead, many viewers seemed to be reminded of Solf J. Kimblee, who appears in the author's past work "Fullmetal Alchemist." Many voices were heard saying things like, "Is that Kimblee making an appearance?!", "He looks like Solf J. Kimblee, but his sword technique is totally King Bradley," and "There's a theory that everyone who likes Kimblee will definitely love Ivan Yosano."
