The 2nd Trailer Featuring New Characters Released! Ranma 1/2 Anime Season 3 Scheduled to Air This October

The second promotional video (PV) has been released for Season 3 of the Ranma 1/2 anime, which is scheduled to begin broadcasting this October.

Ranma 1/2 is based on the popular manga by Rumiko Takahashi, which was serialized in Weekly Shonen Sunday. When Genma Saotome (CV: Cho) and his son Ranma (CV: Kappei Yamaguchi), who had been training in China, arrive at the Tendo household, they are greeted by a giant panda and a cute girl?! As a result of his training in China, Ranma has acquired a peculiar condition where splashing him with cold water turns him into a girl, and hot water turns him back into a boy... This timeless, peerless martial arts romantic comedy will make you laugh, cry, and occasionally fall in love.

In this new PV, alongside freshly animated cuts, brand-new characters make their debut. The video opens with Akane's line, "I'm sorry, Ryoga-kun..." Following that, the scenes unfold to showcase Ryoga's newly mastered secret technique, the "Bakusai Tenketsu" (Breaking Point), depicting a fierce battle between Ranma and Ryoga.

In the latter half of the video, new characters making their first appearance in Season 3 pop up one after another, and their voices have also been unveiled. Offering a glimpse into the evolving dynamics between Ranma, Akane, and Ryoga in Season 3, as well as the numerous romantic battles woven by rivals who harbor feelings for Ranma and Akane, the trailer effectively amps up anticipation for the upcoming season.
