[Photos/Images] "Is this Shūji's perspective from the final episode?" "It's already been a year?!" Fans Rejoice as Never-Before-Seen Deleted Scene from "Gundam GQuuuuuuX" is Unveiled for the First Time 1st

On the official X account for "Mobile Suit Gundam GQuuuuuuX," a video of a scene that was deleted during the original broadcast was released to commemorate the one-year anniversary of the airing of Episode 12, becoming a huge topic of discussion among fans.

The official X account expressed gratitude to the fans, stating, "One year has passed since Episode 12 aired. Thank you so much for all your continuous support even after the broadcast ended!" Along with the words, "The Gundam is telling us that we will meet again someday," the staff members behind the deleted cut "#12_c360B" were revealed. The creators credited for this specific cut include Hidenori Matsubara for key animation, Yumi Ikeda as animation director, Mayuko Kanemasu for in-between animation, Akiko Inoue for color styling, and Nanae Hirabayashi for photography.

In the newly released video, Shūji Itō is depicted quietly closing his eyes as vibrant green and pink light streams in. The scene features a distinctive visual effect where shimmering light expands across the entire screen, delivering a beautiful finish that highlights the visual splendor of this phantom scene that never made it into the final broadcast. This sequence evokes the rough climax sketches previously posted on the official X account back in July 2025.

The anime "GQuuuuuuX" is the latest Gundam series that aired in April 2025, set within the Universal Century timeline. Taking place in a parallel world to the original "Mobile Suit Gundam," it explores a timeline where "Amuro never boarded the Gundam." In the Universal Century year 0085, a high school girl named Amate Yuzuriha living in a space colony meets a war refugee girl named Nyaan. She finds herself swept up in an illegal Mobile Suit dueling competition known as "Clan Battle" and ends up piloting the state-of-the-art machine, GQuuuuuuX. The series gained massive attention as a joint production by Studio Khara and Sunrise.

In response to the release of this rare footage, a flurry of ecstatic reactions poured in from fans, such as "Is this Shūji's perspective from the final episode that we only heard rumors about?" "Thank you so much for this phantom scene!" and "I'm so happy to see new footage again!" Furthermore, many comments reminisced about the original broadcast while eagerly anticipating future developments, with fans saying, "It's already been a year?!" "A year?! It feels like just six months ago, don't lie to me!" "I still can't forget the impact of 'Beginning,' and above all, it was so much fun every week," "Thank you for showing us the unreleased cut... I'll be waiting for the day we meet again someday," and "I'm hoping for a sequel!!"
