Official Report Released for the Anime 10th Anniversary "One-Punch Man" Exhibition

The "Anime 10th Anniversary 'One-Punch Man' Exhibition," the very first exhibition for the series celebrating the 10th anniversary of the "One-Punch Man" anime, opened on June 26.

This exhibition is divided into seven areas in total, structured to allow visitors to fully experience the trajectory from Season 1 to the first cour of Season 3 without missing a thing.

Stepping into the venue, visitors are welcomed by the breathtaking "Serious Celebration Shikishi Road," a lineup of 51 colored paper boards (shikishi) contributed by ONE, Yusuke Murata, and the gorgeous cast and artists to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the anime.

"Saitama's Room," which marks the opening, is recreated with a strong sense of everyday life, packed with small inside jokes everywhere that will make fans chuckle. Past the "Curtain of Executing Justice" at the exit of the room, a clever presentation awaits: Saitama clad in his hero suit stands against the backdrop of a stunning view from the observatory.

In the following Season 1 area, visitors can look back on numerous famous scenes and passionate lines alongside original drawings. Moving forward while encountering the series' signature humor, such as Genos being treated like modern art, a massive, high-impact photo spot appears, recreating the sparring scene between Saitama and Genos from Episode 5. Visitors can take photos while experiencing that overwhelming difference in strength as if they were Genos themselves. At the end of the area stands a must-see exhibit: consecutive original drawings of Boros's "Collapsing Star Roaring Cannon!!" and Saitama's "Killer Move: Serious Series, Serious Punch."

The Season 2 area starts with the scene where the Hero Hunter Garou appears. The very bench where Garou and Tareo connected with each other is recreated, and photo props of the "Hero Encyclopedia" that can be used during photography are also provided. Furthermore, if you open the door of the "Public Restroom" located past the ominous vibrating sound echoing in the area, you can experience that famous scene of King, "The Strongest Man on Earth," and the heavy low bass of the "King Engine."

The Season 3 Cour 1 area highlights the fierce battle between the Hero Association and the Monster Association. The "Bristly Hair Corner," where you can actually touch a realistic recreation of Puri-Puri Prisoner's "Angel ☆ Bristly Armor," is a must-see. In addition, there is a photo spot where visitors can join the tense scene of the heroes gathered around a hot pot, and the latest key visual for the second cour, which was just released today, is also on display ahead of schedule.

The Ending Theater, which wraps up the exhibition, screens a special video exclusive to this exhibition that condenses their journey so far. In the merchandise shop located past the theater, numerous limited-edition original products using newly drawn illustrations by character designer Chikashi Kubota are lined up. At the exit of the shop, a life-sized figure of Saitama, which became a hot topic when exhibited overseas, is also installed, showing that deliberate care has been put into the content right down to the final commemorative photo.

Hikaru Midorikawa, who voices Garou, recently experienced this exhibition early on, enjoying both the displays and the collaboration cafe. A comment from Midorikawa has arrived.

Comment from Hikaru Midorikawa (Voice of Garou)

Since this is the first exhibition, I'm sure everyone has high expectations, but my impression was that it was crafted with much more care than I had imagined. Of course, there are exhibits of things you rarely get to see normally, but there are also plenty of stylish photo spots prepared. Personally, Puri-Puri Prisoner's Angel ☆ Bristly Armor hit the spot for me, and I ended up petting it more than I expected. I'm sure you will be able to enjoy it immensely, so please come visit.

Also, I had Saitama's hamburger and Garou and Genos's drinks from the exhibition's collaboration menu. The ginger sauce on Saitama's hamburger was unexpectedly delicious, making me feel like Garou, thinking, "I want to eat more." The print of Saitama on it also hit the spot. Garou's drink is not just sweet, but also has a distinctive tartness. If you drink it while imagining that the sweet part represents the side of Garou he only shows to Tareo—the side he usually suppresses—I think you can enjoy it even more. Genos's drink is sweeter compared to Garou's, and its color is beautiful and lovely. Just like the characters, every item on the menu is unique and highly recommended. Naturally, I'm sure everyone will do the "Itadaki-mammoth" (a playful Japanese phrase said before eating, like "let's eat!") thing, but I guarantee the taste, so please try as many items as you can.

And with the second cour of Season 3 currently in passionate production, I hope this exhibition gets everyone even more excited. Once the second cour begins, it would be wonderful if we could hold events and things like that too! Thank you very much for your continued support.
