Anime "My Stepmother and Stepsisters Aren't Wicked" Episode 1 Synopsis, Preview Cuts, and Pre-Broadcast Special Program by Main Cast Released!

From the new anime "My Stepmother and Stepsisters Aren't Wicked," the synopsis and preview cuts for Episode 1 have been released. Furthermore, a pre-broadcast special program featuring the main cast has also been unveiled.

This work is based on a popular manga that has surpassed a cumulative total of 1 million copies in circulation (including digital editions). Miya Nakamura (voiced by Hina Suzuki), a young girl taken in by the prestigious Kōnokura family after her mother's death, was prepared for harsh treatment due to her status as a child of a concubine—but her supposedly terrifying stepmother Teru Kōnokura (voiced by Kujira) and stepsisters Marika Kōnokura (voiced by Yū Serizawa) and Arisa Kōnokura (voiced by Yuka Nukui) are... "not wicked"?! This is a heartwarming gap comedy that touches the heart, depicting her daily life with her kind and warm new family.

The premiere broadcast date for this series is Wednesday, July 8. It will begin broadcasting sequentially on tvk (Television Kanagawa), Tele-Tama, Chiba TV, as well as MBS, TOKYO MX, and BS Asahi.

In addition, the pre-broadcast special program has been released. The main cast members—Hina Suzuki, Kujira, Yū Serizawa, and Yuka Nukui—gathered together. During the program, a portion of the opening footage from Episode 1 of the anime was revealed.
