ABEMA began streaming all 26 episodes of the TV anime Neon Genesis Evangelion for free, one after another, starting at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 4. Alongside it, more than 200 other anime titles are also being made available for free, including Inuyasha, Death Note, and Fullmetal Alchemist.

Neon Genesis Evangelion is a TV anime series directed by Hideaki Anno that aired in 1995. The story follows three boys and girls, including protagonist Shinji Ikari, as they pilot the multipurpose humanoid decisive weapon Evangelion, fighting the mysterious enemies known as Angels while confronting harsh fates and their own personal struggles.
