Orihime Yor Appears Just in Time for Tanabata! Illustration Drawn by "SPY x FAMILY" Author Sparks Hot Topic: "Glad She Made It in Time This Month," "I Love 'Fashionably Late' Yor-san"

On the official X account of manga artist Tatsuya Endō, an illustration of Yor Forger (CV: Saori Hayami) themed around Tanabata on July 7 was released alongside the update announcement for Chapter 137 of the manga "SPY x FAMILY," garnering huge attention.

Endo posted, "Sorry for the late notice, but Chapter 137 of 'SPY x FAMILY' has been updated. On page 12, I accidentally swapped the left and right bleed areas, I'm so sorry..." reporting the release of the latest chapter.

The image depicts Yor dressed in a vibrant pink Orihime outfit, holding a bamboo branch decorated with colorful tanzaku paper strips. The illustration is accompanied by the text, "Wait... Has another year passed already...? Isn't that too fast...?" creating a comical composition that expresses her surprise and panic, with her heavily shaken face drawn with a motion-blur effect. Although the artwork itself is identical to the one posted on July 8, 2025, the text has been changed from last time's "I'm fashionably late...!!" to lines showing her astonishment at how fast time flies.

"SPY x FAMILY" is a spy action-comedy manga by Endō, currently serialized on Shueisha's manga app "Shonen Jump+". It follows the daily lives of Twilight, a master spy, Anya, a telepathic daughter, and Yor, an assassin wife, who live together as a temporary family while hiding their true identities from each other. Boasting overwhelming popularity with a cumulative circulation of over 41 million copies for its comic volumes, it is a mega-hit series that has also been adapted into a TV anime and a movie.
