To commemorate the 10th anniversary of the My Hero Academia anime, two music videos combining original creator Kohei Horikoshi's manga artwork with artists' songs have been released as the 53rd and 54th installments of the "JUMP MV" collaboration series between Weekly Shonen Jump and Sony Music, premiering back-to-back on the Jump Channel from 6:00 p.m. on July 15.

"My Hero Academia" is based on the immensely popular comic by Kohei Horikoshi, which has concluded serialization in Weekly Shonen Jump (published by Shueisha) and has surpassed 100 million copies in cumulative worldwide circulation. The story is set in a world where about 80% of the population possesses some kind of superpower known as a "Quirk." It follows the growth, battles, and friendships of Izuku Midoriya and his classmates at U.A. High School as they aim to become heroes—a profession dedicated to protecting people and society from accidents, disasters, and villains who misuse their Quirks for crime.

In 2026, "My Hero Academia" (commonly known as "Hero Aca") is in the midst of its TV anime 10th anniversary project, "My Hero Academia: The Animation 10th Anniversary." To help celebrate this anniversary year, two music videos composed of Horikoshi's original manga artwork have arrived.

The songs featured in this collaboration are Porno Graffitti's "THE REVO," the opening theme of the TV anime series "FINAL SEASON," and BUMP OF CHICKEN's "I," the ending theme.

The music video for "THE REVO" centers on Izuku Midoriya, the hero at the heart of the series, and the villain Tomura Shigaraki, depicting the history of their confrontations up to their final encounter. The music video for "I" chronicles the bonds and growth of Izuku Midoriya and his classmates in Class 1-A of U.A. High School's Hero Course. Now that both the manga and the anime have reached their finales, each video has been crafted into a special piece that resonates all the more deeply.
