"Can I Get One Too?" Yano Volunteers Himself for the Rubber Band Snap!? Yasumoto Apologizes After Guard Dog Gaogao's Game Ends Too Fast: "Sorry, It Was Over So Quickly"
Next came "Hiroki & Shogo's Gourmet Bet," a segment where the two predict which answer will be the majority in a viewer poll, and if they guess correctly, they get to eat top-grade cherry tomatoes worth 200 yen each.
For the "arm wrestling or finger wrestling" question, Yasumoto revealed the surprising backstory that "I broke it when I was little and saw a bad doctor, so it never fully healed — my grip is weak," but the two both guessed arm wrestling. Yano got excited, saying, "I never imagined the day would come when I'd arm wrestle Yasumoto!" Yano put in his full strength but couldn't budge him, simply remarking, "He's so strong! Just as I thought!" The result was a win for Yasumoto.
In the next question, Yasumoto ended up on the receiving end of the "rubber band snap." When Yano, looking a little nervous, let the rubber band go, Yasumoto took it head-on and writhed, saying, "That felt like a good punch." But after watching that, Yano — for whatever reason — unexpectedly volunteered himself, asking, "Can I get one too?" He asked for tips on how to take it, then willingly underwent the luxurious initiation of having his senior pull the rubber band on him. Even as he writhed in the pain that's a variety-show staple, he wore a strangely satisfied, happy expression.
For the final question, the two played a game using the guard dog toy Gaogao. However, even as everyone expected a nail-biting back-and-forth typical of a variety show, the guard dog popped out unexpectedly on Yasumoto's second turn, ending the game far too quickly. Faced with such an anticlimactic result that gave him no chance to shine, Yasumoto apologized profusely to the staff and viewers: "I didn't do anything." "Damn... I wanted more of a scare. It happened so fast with a 'wait, already?!' that I couldn't even react." "It ended up a total dud." "I'm sorry, it was over so quickly." It made for a surreal yet laughter-filled close to the show.
