Hiro Shimono and Daisuke Namikawa Deliver One Comical Mishap After Another! Namikawa Turns Bright Red Watching VTR That Puts His Own "Analogy Quips" to the Test

On ABEMA, "Say You To Yo Asobi Thursday [Daisuke Namikawa × Hiro Shimono] #9" aired at 10 p.m. on July 9.

During the broadcast, the two tackled a physical challenge in the corner "Thank You, Japan National Team! Now It's Our Turn!," while the "Hiro's Secret Challenge" segment featured a prank targeting Daisuke Namikawa's "analogy quips."

In "Thank You, Japan National Team! Now It's Our Turn!," Namikawa and Shimono tackled a variety of missions, aiming to deliver excitement worthy of the Japan national team.

First up were "Sniff Out the Word! Detective Nose Nose," in which the pair had to guess a word based on smell alone, and "Work Together and Calculate! Pull-Up Challenge," where they solved math problems while doing pull-ups. During the smell-guessing game, though, both of their senses seemed to go haywire, leading to a string of wild misfires — a scent they guessed as "luxury carpet" turned out to be incense, and one they thought was "lemon" was actually yuzu. In the end, it was revealed that a smell they'd assumed was garlic was actually a "poop spray," prompting Namikawa to laugh and say, "Our senses are seriously broken!"
