Rematch of "GO5 Challenge" to Mark the 555th Video
In the second half, the show held the special segment "GO5 Challenge Revenge," marking the 555th video posted to the YouTube channel "GO5 Channel." The members chose events to attempt from a variety of missions, aiming for all five to succeed together. Under the rules, clearing three missions in a row means the challenge is a success, but failure brings on the "Glove Rocket Launcher: Kai," a souped-up version of GOALOUS5's familiar punishment game, the "Glove Rocket Launcher."
The members took on a variety of missions — including flicking a one-yen coin, kendama, tongue twisters, senburi tea (a notoriously bitter herbal tea), and a card-based high-and-low game — but one failure after another came right at the final step. No matter how many times they tried again, all five members could never pull off a clean sweep, leading to a chaotic string of explosions from the "Glove Rocket Launcher: Kai" punishment.
Last was the "Butt Balloon Relay," in which members carry a balloon using only their backsides. Things were going smoothly, but in a surprise twist, anchor Shugo Nakamura suddenly started a butt-sumo match with Komatsu, popping the balloon in the process. As the other members complained, "At least pop it with a bang!", Nakamura said, "This is exactly why nobody wanted to do it," drawing laughs from the studio.
In the end, the challenge was not a success. Kumagai lamented, "Will the day ever come when we can actually pull off one of these back-to-back challenges?", while Nakamura laughed ruefully, "I'd at least like to land five kendama catches in a row. That's just too uncool!" To the very end, the rematch segment was full of the chaotic, chatty energy GOALOUS5 is known for.
