JO1's "IGNITE" Selected as OP Theme Song for "Tokyo Revengers: Three Deities Arc"! Comments Also Arrive

JO1's "IGNITE" has been selected as the opening theme song for the TV anime Tokyo Revengers: Three Deities Arc, which will begin broadcasting on October 2 on MBS, TBS, CBC's "Animeism" block, AT-X, and other channels.

Tokyo Revengers is an anime series based on the time-leap suspense manga by Ken Wakui. The newly broadcast "Three Deities Arc" depicts the final revenge in a world that has entered the "Three Deities Era," where three teams vie for supremacy.

"IGNITE" is the lead track from JO1's 11th single "AAO," scheduled for release on November 18. It was announced on July 20 at "JO1DER SHOW 2026 'EIEN Eternity' FINAL" held at Vantelin Dome Nagoya.

Along with the unveiling of the theme song, comments from all JO1 members arrived. Each member sent a passionate message expressing their joy at handling the theme song and their feelings toward the series. Members Syoya Kimata and Junki Kono were also involved in writing the lyrics for this song. Kimata commented, "I rewrote it over and over again, taking revenge repeatedly as I wrote," while Kono commented, "I put it into the lyrics of 'IGNITE' because I wanted to directly convey Takemichi's determination to stand up and take revenge no matter how many times it takes." Attention should also be paid to the words they spun while facing the series and the feelings embedded in the song.

Furthermore, an advance screening event has also been confirmed for September. It will be held at TOHO Cinemas Roppongi Hills on September 6 and at TOHO Cinemas Namba on September 21. Details regarding appearing cast members will be announced at a later date.
