Trusting Shitara, Töregene Begins to Tell Her Tragic Past... Anime Jaadugar: A Witch in Mongolia Episode 6 Synopsis and Preview Stills Released

From the anime Jaadugar: A Witch in Mongolia, the synopsis and preview stills for Episode 6 have been released. Furthermore, character, cast information, and cast comments for figures appearing from Act 6 onward have been unveiled.

This work is based on the popular manga by Tomato Soup, currently serialized in "Souffle" (Akita Shoten). The protagonist, Shitara (CV: Akira Sekine), was separated far from her hometown after losing her mother, but after being taken in by a family of scholars, she discovered the potential and importance of "knowledge" and cultivated her education. However, having everything taken away from her by the "Mongol Empire," Shitara resolves to make use of her one remaining asset, her "wisdom," to ingratiate herself with the royal family and collapse the empire from within.

This series is currently broadcasting every Saturday at 23:30 on TV Asahi's nationwide network of 24 stations in the "IMAnimation" block.

[Synopsis]
Trusting Shitara, who harbors a grudge against the Mongol Empire, Töregene begins to share her own tragic past. Going back 25 years in time, Töregene, who married Dayir, the much older chief of the Merkit tribe, connects heart-to-heart with Dayir's daughter, Khulan, and others. However, their peaceful days are short-lived when they are raided by the Mongol tribe led by Genghis Khan, forcing Dayir to make a certain decision.
