Ibaraki Prefecture × TV Anime The Apothecary Diaries Collaboration Part 2! New Visual and PV Expressing "A Journey Like a Bouquet" Released

Under its tourism branding concept "IBARAKI is Blossoming," Ibaraki Prefecture has decided to hold a second-year collaboration project with the TV anime The Apothecary Diaries. On July 27, coinciding with the renewal launch of the tourism branding website, a new key visual and a special movie were released.

Based on the original work by Hyuganatsu, The Apothecary Diaries is an immensely popular series that has surpassed 45 million cumulative copies in circulation. In addition to the third season of the TV anime broadcasting in split two-quarter cours starting in October, the release of the feature film The Apothecary Diaries the Movie: The Fallen Consort's Secret Treasure has also been confirmed for December 11.

The theme of this installment is "A Journey Like a Bouquet, Weaving Stories of the Four Seasons." It portrays a journey through Ibaraki, a place filled with charm that changes its appearance through spring, summer, autumn, and winter, as if reading through a single storybook. Maomao and Jinshi, who appear in the series, travel through Ibaraki in all four seasons, weaving together the unique appeal of Ibaraki through the nature, food, culture, stunning views, and hands-on experiences alive in each season.

The newly released key visual depicts iconic seasonal sights representing Ibaraki Prefecture—such as breathtaking flower views coloring spring, magnificent fireworks of summer, autumn flavors and foliage, and the natural beauty unique to winter—expressing a worldview where travel itself becomes a single story.

The renewed tourism branding website showcases the new key visual and special movie, along with timely, seasonal tourism information. Continuing from last year, special experiential content called "Gems of Experience," where visitors can engage with nature, food, and traditional crafts, is also introduced. The lineup includes a garden party at "Ibaraki Flower Park" in Ishioka City, a stay experience at "THE BOTANICAL RESORT Rinnon" in Naka City, and a full-scale Yuki Tsumugi weaving experience in Yuki City. Additional programs are scheduled to be added progressively in the future.
