Kagurabachi's Chihiro Rokuhira Gets a Stunning Red-and-Black Birthday Wallpaper, Fans Say 'I Want Merch With This Art'

Kagurabachi's official X account has released a special wallpaper to celebrate the birthday of protagonist Chihiro Rokuhira, sparking buzz among fans. The post was shared as a birthday gift for fans to mark his August 11 birthday.

The released image is a smartphone wallpaper built around a red, black, and white color scheme. At its center, Rokuhira is drawn in bold detail wielding the cursed blade Enten, surrounded by goldfish that appear as a manifestation of genryoku (the series' mystic power). On the left, his name is arranged vertically inside a circular design, while the bottom features the date "8/11" laid out prominently alongside the series logo.

Kagurabachi is a sword-fighting action manga by Takeru Hokazono that has been serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump (Shueisha) since September 2023. It follows Rokuhira, a boy aspiring to become a swordsmith, as he wields the last remaining cursed blade, Enten, to take revenge on the sorcerers who killed his father and stole six cursed blades. The series has surpassed 4 million copies in cumulative circulation and took first place in the comics category of the Next Manga Award 2024. A TV anime adaptation is also set to premiere in April 2027, marking a wide-ranging media mix expansion.
