The official X account of the anime Mission: Yozakura Family has unveiled the Blu-ray cover illustration for Season 2. The outfits shown in the illustration resemble those worn in the music video for What's “KAZOKU”? by idol group Sakurazaka46, and the artwork is drawing a strong response, particularly among fans.

The image shows the characters lined up in crisp outfits built around blue and white. A large cherry blossom emblem is set in pink against the background, and each character wears a hoodie, shirt, skirt or similar item styled to match their individual personality. The official post carried the text "Season 2 Blu-ray cover illustration revealed!! On sale Friday, August 28, 2026! Retailer-exclusive bonuses have also been decided," along with attachments including layout diagrams of the product packaging showing the discs and booklet side by side.

Mission: Yozakura Family is based on the manga by Hitsuji Gondaira, published by Shueisha under its Jump Comics label. Season 2 is currently airing across a 28-station national network on MBS and TBS, with Sakurazaka46 performing the season's opening theme, What's “KAZOKU”?
