Demon Slayer Fans Moved to Tears Again by Special "Kamado Tanjiro no Uta" Video After Hinokami Episode, Say "The Re-Edit Caught Us Off Guard"

ufotable's official X account has released a special video for the anime Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba, titled "Kamado Tanjiro no Uta." The re-edited footage, which looks back on the character's past battles and growth, has become a hot topic among fans.

Currently, a full rerun of the TV anime Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba is airing every Sunday at 9:30 a.m. on Fuji TV and other stations. This special video was released to mark the August 16 (Sunday) broadcast of episode 19, "Hinokami," and the Blu-ray & DVD release of Demon Slayer: Kimetsu No Yaiba The Movie: Infinity Castle.

"Kamado Tanjiro no Uta" is an insert song used in the climax and ending of episode 19, "Hinokami." The lyrics were written by ufotable, and the music was composed by Go Shiina, who works on the anime's score, with the track credited to "Go Shiina feat. Nami Nakagawa." The special video is re-edited from anime footage, looking back on the battles, strong will, and growth of Tanjiro Kamado, voiced by Natsuki Hanae.
