Frozen 3 (Working Title) Concept Art Unveiled Ahead of 2027 Release — Anna's Wedding and Olaf's Romance Have Fans Saying 'This Is Already Looking Like a Masterpiece'

Concept art for the Disney animated film Frozen 3 (working title), set for release in 2027, has been unveiled. New information about the romantic storylines featured in the film was also revealed at the same time, sparking excitement among fans.

The concept art shows Anna, Elsa, Kristoff, and Olaf standing side by side, with a shimmering aurora glowing above them as if beckoning them toward a new adventure.

The news was first unveiled at D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event, a Disney fan event held in Anaheim, California. At the presentation, which kicked off on August 14 local time, Idina Menzel, who returns as the voice of Elsa after voicing her in the previous two films, and Kristen Bell, who voices Anna, took the stage and performed a new version of the original film's song, Frozen Heart. Speaking about the story, the two described its scale, saying, "Anna and Elsa are heading into their biggest adventure yet," and "they'll face all kinds of twists, danger, tears, battles, and trials." It was also revealed that the film will feature Anna and Kristoff's wedding and the start of a romance for Olaf, with Josh Gad, the voice of Olaf, debuting a new song about his feelings for Samantha, the snowman he has fallen for.

Additionally, footage shown exclusively at the venue depicted a scene in which a mysterious ice message reaches Elsa during Anna and Kristoff's wedding, leading to a woman in a jet-black dress — who wields ice magic just like Elsa — standing in her path.
