An avalanche of excitement has swept through fan communities on social media following the simultaneous reveal of new cast members for Season 3 of the TV anime ""The Apothecary Diaries,"" along with the latest character visuals for both Season 3 and the upcoming feature film.

""The Apothecary Diaries"" is a blockbuster franchise with over 57 million copies in circulation worldwide. Set in the inner court of the imperial palace, it follows the mystery-solving journey of Maomao, a young poison tester girl who solves perplexing incidents. In Season 3, the stage expands beyond the inner court to the city streets and neighboring countries, depicting new trials centered around forebodings of disaster striking the nation and a mysterious immortal maiden who bewitches the populace. Furthermore, a fully original theatrical film featuring a story concept by the original author, Hyuganatsu, is scheduled for release on Friday, December 11.

For Season 3, it has been announced that Reina Ueda will voice Bai Niangniang, a mysterious maiden causing a stir in the streets with her translucent pale skin, white hair, and red eyes.
