——The giant Tamiya Color jar was really eye-catching. Could you tell us how you came up with the idea for the two-shot with the Tamiya Color jar, and what stood out to you at the venue?
Natsumeoji : I thought, ""If the usually tiny Tamiya Color jar got huge, it'd definitely be adorable!"" so I worked hard to make it! It's an otaku's dream. I thought it would be fun to play around with fellow sculpting otakus at the WF venue, so I built it in a way that someone could stand behind it for a commemorative photo. On the day of the event, several people took pictures with me, so I was super satisfied.
——What points did you want to express in this cosplay, and what parts are your favorites?
Natsumeoji :Since Moko-chan herself is an '80s character, I unified the silhouette and color scheme of the outfit to give it a slightly retro vibe. What required the most care during production was, without a doubt, drawing the TAMIYA logo on the apron. I couldn't afford to make it look sloppy... Once finished, it became my most satisfying detail.
——If there are any cosplays you'd like to try in the future, please let us know.
Natsumeoji : What I want to make the most is a cosplay outfit from the manga ""Berserk."" My skills aren't quite there yet, but if I could pour my whole heart and soul into creating an insanely high-quality Berserker Armor and Dragon Slayer, I'd be ready to retire from cosplay anytime! It's my lifelong dream!
——Thank you very much!
Natsumeoji truly expressed a passionate love for sculpting that was perfectly suited for an event like Wonder Festival. We look forward to meeting again while anticipating what kind of expression will be shown to us next time.
