On Wednesday, August 26, the stage play "DANDADAN ~Occultic Stage~" opened at Nihon Seinenkan Hall. Ahead of the performances, footage from the dress rehearsal was revealed along with opening-day comments from director Imajin Ito and the cast.

The stage play "DANDADAN ~Occultic Stage~" is the first stage adaptation of the manga "DANDADAN" by Yukinobu Tatsu, currently serialized on the manga app "Shonen Jump+" (Shueisha). Momo (Momo Ayase) is played by Yuiri Murayama, a former member of the idol group AKB48 with a strong reputation for her acting skills, having starred in musicals following her graduation.

Playing Okarun (Ken Takakura), who confronts various supernatural entities alongside Momo, is Raimu Ninomiya. Playing Okarun (Transformed), who changes form due to the curse of the yokai Turbo Granny, is Hiroki Hyakuna. Participating via voice performance as Turbo Granny—the first yokai Okarun encounters—is Mayumi Tanaka, who voices the same role in the TV anime "DANDADAN".

The Tokyo performances will run until Thursday, September 3 at Nihon Seinenkan Hall, while the Osaka performances will run from Friday, September 11 to Sunday, September 13 at Sky Theater MBS in Osaka Prefecture.
